APPOINTMENTS & RESULTS

At Banks Creek Medical Centre, we operate by appointment. For an appointment, please contact the surgery. We will endeavor to meet your appointment needs with regards to your preferred day and time.
Standard Consultations
Standard consultations are allocated for approximately 10 minutes.
Long Consultations
Long consultations are available for patients who may have multiple concerns to discuss with their GP, a complex concern, or a mental health care concern. When you attend the practice for the first time you will be booked in for a long appointment so that the doctor can gather all the necessary information and background medical history required to begin your care.
Walk-in Appointments
Patients who chose to walk in without making a prior appointment will be allocated the first available appointment. This often results in an extended wait time. You will be advised of this upon presentation.
Emergency Appointments
Priority will always be given to emergencies.
Home Visits
Every effort is made to accommodate patients requests for home visits, however as this practice only has a sole doctor operating from the premises there will be times when a home visit cannot be accommodated. Please discuss your need for a home visit with reception.
Results
If you have had any pathology or radiology testing performed, please make sure to book in for an appointment 48 hours after. Generally, results will not be given over the telephone.
